A group of children from Year 5 took part in an OAA competition at Houndsfield School. The competition involved reading maps, problem solving activities and team games. The children worked brilliantly together and completed all of the challenging activities!
We are very proud of our Year 6 children who performed their 'Matilda' dance at the Enfield dance festival. The children performed with confidence on the Millfield theatre stage and thoroughly enjoyed the experience.
This World Book Day, the children of Galliard Primary School immersed themselves in a joyful celebration of stories and imagination!
We celebrated Shrove Tuesday with some pancakes for our dessert. Christians celebrate Shrove Tuesday before Ash Wednesday and they begin their fasting period of Lent. This is the last chance to use up the foods Christians would not be eating during Lent. We can't wait to see other festivals being celebrated in our kitchen.'
On Tuesday 4th March 2025, Galliard Choir represented their school amazingly at the Enfield Music Service Spring Sounds Festival at Millfield Theatre.
On Tuesday, 4W and 5R were joined at their session by Spurs first team player Lucas Bergvall!
Some of the netball team had this first friendly match of the year at Wilbury. After losing the first half, we came back much stronger in the second half. This was a great warm-up for the league starting next week! Well done team Galliard.
A big thank you to the children, parents and staff of Galliard School. With your support we managed to raise over £500 during Just One Tree Day. The children bought in their donation and wore green for the day. The money they raised will go towards planting trees in areas affected by deforestation.
Year 1 had a wonderful time at the Halloween Disco. It was lovely to see all the children dressed up and having such a fun time dancing!
On Tuesday 15th October , our School Parliament members from Years 3 to 6 had an exciting trip to the Houses of Parliament. The visit included a fascinating tour of Westminster, where we explored both the House of Lords and the House of Commons. We were lucky enough to witness a live debate, which gave us a real insight into how democracy works in the UK and the crucial role Parliament plays in shaping our society.
