Last week saw the launch of STEM club at Galliard.
Key Stage 1 & 2 attended an anti-bullying workshop where they were informed all about how to recognise inappropriate behaviour and what to do if this situation ever arises.
There' s been lots of excitement in Year 3 this week as the children received a very special letter from the author Andy Shepherd.
It was lovely to see the children getting into the spirit of the Coronation, dressed as our very own Kings & Queens.

On Monday, 19th June 2023, we held another successful book gifting event in year 1. Children were given the opportunity to take home some books we no longer need in school to have on their bookshelves at home.
Well done to the athletics team who competed at the Enfield Borough athletics championships on Monday 12th June. The children competed in a range of track events and performed very well.

Well done to everyone who took part in this year’s Easter Science Competition and thank you to those who came to view the children’s work at our science exhibition this week. The standard of work was amazing and our science ambassadors enjoyed showing their work to others and carrying out various demonstrations including erupting volcanoes, shooting rockets and balloon powered vehicles!
Children in KS2 were delighted to meet an author, Karen McCombie, who came in today and spoke to children about writing books.
On Friday 3rd March, the children & staff at school pulled out all the stops to dress as their favourite book character. It was brilliant to see the fantastic effort our pupils and staff had made in celebrating World Book Day.
