Year 4
Year 4 Ancient Greek Workshop
Year 4 had a fantastic opportunity to become Ancient Greeks for the day! We dressed up and immersed ourselves of different activities that Ancient Greeks may have taken part in including mosaic making, sculpting clay pots, painting Greek pottery, making olive oil, creating medicine bags, soap carving, and wax screen making. In the afternoon we were able to get creative and put on a theatre show using all our learning knowledge for the whole term. We all had a great time and went home with a bag full of goodies!
Anti-Bullying Workshop
Years 3 & 4 took part in an Anti-bullying workshop. They were put through their paces and thought about the issues surrounding bullying, what it means and what they can do to tackle and eradicate it!
Skip 2B Fit!
Years 3 and 4 had an energetic day taking part in Skip2bfit workshops - testing out their skipping skills. Skipping was broken down for them into easy steps and all the children improved on their initial skip amount. The children had great fun and some even beat their teacher's skipping score!

Year 4 Ancient Greek Day - 14th November 2023
On Tuesday, Year 4 were lucky to have an Ancient Greek Day experience! Children had the chance to design, make and use a range of Ancient Greek artefacts, including mosaics, olive oil, bricks for the acropolis and offerings to the Gods. They also experienced a Greek feast whilst watching and preforming in a range of different Greek entertainments. Hopefully the Goddess Athena will be pleased and spare us from the Persian Invasion!
4JR Library Trip - November 2023
Year 4 had a brilliant time visiting Edmonton Green Library. They enjoyed seeing the huge range of books on offer, having some time to read in the comfy areas and bringing a book back to school.
