Enfield Sea Cadets

Dear Parent/Carer,

I am writing with the exciting news that we now have spaces available at Enfield Sea Cadets and we would like to invite Year 5 and 6 students to find out more about what we can offer.

What we do:

The Sea Cadets use a nautical theme, based on the customs of the Royal Navy, to teach skills from cookery to engineering, first aid, sailing, navigation and the art of seamanship, both on land and on the water. Today, 14,000 young people based in 400 units in towns, cities and ports across the UK are challenging themselves and developing new skills, supported by 9,000 volunteers. Attached is our Outcomes Framework that will give you a bit more of idea about the kinds of instant and long-term benefits young people can get from joining Sea Cadets, as well as our junior leaflet for your interest.

Please find information below about two upcoming events: an education coffee morning for Special Guardians on 24th January at the Dugdale Café, and an education coffee morning for Adoptive Parents, at West Lea School (Haselbury Campus) on 7th February.

Enfield Psychology Service

Dear Parents & carers,

We know the school holidays can be a difficult time for some families and we wanted to remind you about the Enfield Educational Psychology Service Telephone Support Line (TSL).

This offers parents an opportunity to talk to a member of the Educational Psychology Service about any concerns they might have in relation to their child.

Details about TSL can be found here
